Sign in to VIS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Open vis.almamater.si<\/a> and sign in with your Alma Mater identity (your @almamater.si username and password). You can also reach the sign-in page through the VIS<\/strong> banner on the almamater.si website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important:<\/strong> If you also use other Microsoft accounts (for example from other institutions or for personal use), sign in to VIS in private browsing or in a browser where you are not signed in to Microsoft services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Open the timetable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In VIS click TIMETABLE<\/strong> and then TIMETABLES<\/strong>. The Wise Timetable web timetable opens. This is the route to the timetable that carries the links to online meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose your timetable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the Student ID<\/strong> field at the top left, above the filters, enter your student ID number and confirm it with \u2192<\/strong>. Instead of that you can select Programme<\/strong>, then Year<\/strong> and Branch<\/strong>; Year<\/strong> unlocks once Programme<\/strong> is selected, and Branch<\/strong> only once Year<\/strong> is selected as well. Reset the selection with Clear<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Narrow the view with filters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Four filters are available: Groups<\/strong>, Subjects<\/strong>, Lecturers<\/strong> and Rooms<\/strong>. At a filter click +<\/strong>, mark what you need in the search field and apply your selection with Apply<\/strong>; until you click Apply<\/strong>, the view does not change. Remove a selected filter with \u00d7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Move between weeks and choose a view<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Above the timetable are the arrows \u2039<\/strong> and \u203a<\/strong> for the week, \u00ab<\/strong> and \u00bb<\/strong> for the month, the Today<\/strong> link and the Jump to a date<\/strong> field. The selected week is written next to them, for example Week 1<\/strong>, together with the start and end dates of the week. The Full view<\/strong> button opens a menu with three options: Full view<\/strong> (the school’s whole day, at full height), Occupied only<\/strong> (hides the empty hours before the first and after the last event) and Optimised height<\/strong> (the whole day, but shorter, so more of the week fits on screen).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Open an activity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the weekly view, click the activity card; the activity page opens with the details Rooms<\/strong>, Lecturers<\/strong>, Teaching type<\/strong> and Course code<\/strong>, where the Copy<\/strong> button copies the course code. For an activity with an online meeting, above these details there is also a Join online<\/strong> button and, next to it, a Copy<\/strong> button that copies the link to the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The button opens the meeting in the right application: most online activities take place in Microsoft Teams, while some, for example some online exams, still take place in Zoom. Always open the link from the timetable and not from a saved copy, because it can change when the time slot, the lecturer or the room changes. Create a permanent link<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Below the filter row is the Link to this view<\/strong> button. Clicking it opens a field with the address of the current selection and a Copy<\/strong> button. Save such a link in your bookmarks or send it on, and it opens exactly this selection. The Programme<\/strong>, Year<\/strong> and Branch<\/strong> selection is updated in the address as you go.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Print or export the timetable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the menu with the three-line icon, choose This page<\/strong> and then Print<\/strong> if you want a printout of the current page. To export, choose Reports<\/strong> in the same menu, select Groups<\/strong>, Subjects<\/strong>, Lecturers<\/strong> or Rooms<\/strong> and click Show<\/strong>; the links Download PDF<\/strong>, Download Excel<\/strong> and Printable \/ PDF<\/strong> appear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Set the language<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Language<\/strong> button (top right) opens a menu with the interface languages. Under the heading Names<\/strong> there is also a switch between As the school writes them<\/strong> and Translated<\/strong>, which applies to the names of subjects, rooms and programs; when Translated<\/strong> is selected, there is an asterisk next to the language code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timetable on your phone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On a phone the week is shown one day at a time and the filters stack below one another; the labels are the same as on a computer. The timetable is also in the Studo app, in the Calendar section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
