Posting in forums<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A forum is intended for discussions, questions, announcements and exchanging opinions. Some forums allow reading only, while others also allow posting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a new discussion topic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Open the Forum<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Click Add a new discussion topic<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Enter a clear topic title.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Write your message.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Add an attachment if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Click Post to forum<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Replying to an existing post<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Open the discussion topic you want.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Below the post, click Reply<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Write your reply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Click Post to forum<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Communication rules:<\/strong> Write clearly and respectfully. Check your grammar before posting, do not publish personal data and stay on the topic of the discussion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Notifications and messages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Moodle can notify you about new posts, grades, messages and deadlines. Notifications are usually shown next to the bell icon, and private messages next to the messages icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Click the bell icon<\/strong> to review your notifications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        • Click the messages icon<\/strong> for private messages<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Also check your university e-mail inbox regularly, because Moodle can send notifications by e-mail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

          Calendar and deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          The calendar shows due dates for assignments, quizzes, events and other activities. Some events are added automatically, and you can add others yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • On the Dashboard<\/strong> or in the menu, open the Calendar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Click an event to show its details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            • Check the date, the time and the link to the activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • For important deadlines, also set your own reminder on your phone or in your personal calendar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
