How to find the Turnitin assignment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Log in to Moodle.<\/strong> Use your student account.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Open the online classroom of the course<\/strong> for which you have to submit the assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Find the right section.<\/strong> The assignment is published in a section, a week, or a topic block.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Find the activity with the title of the assignment.<\/strong> The name of the assignment does not necessarily contain the word Turnitin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Click the title of the activity.<\/strong> Turnitin opens inside Moodle or in a new browser window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you cannot see the assignment:<\/strong> check that you have opened the right online classroom and that the start date for submissions has already passed. If you still cannot find it, contact your course instructor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What to check before submitting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you open the Turnitin assignment, first review the details set by the course instructor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Title<\/strong>: the name of the assignment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Instructions<\/strong>: what you have to submit and which requirements apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Start date<\/strong>: from when submission is possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Due date<\/strong>: by when you have to submit the assignment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Feedback release date<\/strong>: when grades and comments become visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Max points<\/strong>: how many points can be achieved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Rubric<\/strong>: the grading criteria, if the instructor has added them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Late submissions<\/strong>: whether submitting after the due date is allowed at all.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
