Enrollment in Information Services with Single Sign-On (SSO)

We would like to inform you that from now on, registration in the Student Information System (VIS) is available for all users through the unified digital identity of Alma Mater with the help of Microsoft Entra Single Sign-On (SSO). The former registration method will remain available until October 30, 2024, and user data will remain unchanged, regardless of the login method.

The SSO login was established last year for access to @almamater.si ZOOM services. In the coming months, we will enable this login method for the Moodle and STUDO/FLOW platforms as well.

The advantage of using SSO is not only that it allows easy access to multiple services with a single login, but also that it improves security. SSO also supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), which is crucial for protecting your data. According to research, MFA prevents more than 99.2% of personal account breaches (source).

Important: If you are using other Microsoft accounts (e.g., from other institutions or for personal use), we recommend logging into VIS with your Alma Mater account either in incognito mode (private browsing) in your browser or using another browser where you are not logged into Microsoft services.
