Mentimeter

Mentimeter is an interactive presentation platform: you build slides with live polls, quizzes, word clouds and open questions, and participants answer in real time from their phones or laptops. It is ideal for checking understanding, sparking discussion and collecting instant feedback during a lecture.

Alma Mater account: to use the AMEU Mentimeter account, send a request to support@almamater.si with the subject “Mentimeter FOR PROFESSORS”.

Quick start – three steps

  1. Create – Sign in at mentimeter.com, click New, and add slides. Pick a type that fits your goal: Multiple Choice (quick check), Word Cloud (brainstorm), Open Ended (reflection), Scales (confidence/opinion) or Quiz Competition (gamified review).
  2. Present – Click Present. Participants open menti.com and enter the code on screen (or scan the QR code) to respond live.
  3. Review – Answers appear instantly on your slides. After the session, use Export/Results to download or reuse the responses.
