The Flow web interface enables easy management of subjects and other data on lecture attendance rates. Lecturers can easily record their students’ attendance using a QR code — both at in-person lectures and online. In addition, Flow provides real-time insight into attendance rates for both staff and students.
HOW TO USE FLOW:
● Sign in on the Alma Mater university website ( >FLOW): On the Alma Mater website, sign in via the icon
>FLOW (top right of the page) with your Alma Mater identity (SSO*). Sign-in is available only to students with completed enrolment in VIS (upon completed enrolment you receive a message from the student office).
● Web sign-in (via VIS): After signing in to VIS, press the “Flow” button in the side menu. Sign-in is available only to students with completed enrolment in VIS (upon completed enrolment you receive a message from the student office).
● Sign-in in the Studo mobile app: In the side menu (top right) press the “Flow” button. Sign-in is available only to students with completed enrolment in VIS (upon completed enrolment you receive a message from the student office).
● Scanning the QR code: Scan the QR code shown to you by the lecturer using a mobile device with the Studo app or your phone’s camera app.
● Late sign-ins and attendance recognition requests: If you are late for a lecture or cannot read the QR code, lecturers can record your attendance manually. You can also submit an attendance recognition request with appropriate evidence via the web interface. These requests must be processed by the lecturers.
User support:
Studo provides full support (first, second and third level). This means that our support and development team personally responds to user requests as quickly as possible. Our median first response time is 55 minutes. Whether it concerns a question about features or a possible problem, we act immediately and resolve every problem that arises.
➤ Support Chat:
You can find the user support chat in the bottom-left corner of the web application.
Note: If you use other Microsoft accounts (e.g. from other institutions or for personal use), we recommend that when signing in with your Alma Mater identity (SSO) you use either incognito (private browsing) mode in your browser, or use a different browser in which you are not signed in to Microsoft services.
