Step-by-step instructions
Sign in to VIS
Open vis.almamater.si and sign in with your Alma Mater identity (your @almamater.si username and password). You can also reach the sign-in page through the VIS banner on the almamater.si website.
Important: If you also use other Microsoft accounts (for example from other institutions or for personal use), sign in to VIS in private browsing or in a browser where you are not signed in to Microsoft services.
Open the timetable
In VIS click TIMETABLE and then TIMETABLES. The Wise Timetable web timetable opens. This is the route to the timetable that carries the links to online meetings.

Choose your timetable
In the Student ID field at the top left, above the filters, enter your student ID number and confirm it with →. Instead of that you can select Programme, then Year and Branch; Year unlocks once Programme is selected, and Branch only once Year is selected as well. Reset the selection with Clear.
Narrow the view with filters
Four filters are available: Groups, Subjects, Lecturers and Rooms. At a filter click +, mark what you need in the search field and apply your selection with Apply; until you click Apply, the view does not change. Remove a selected filter with ×.

Move between weeks and choose a view
Above the timetable are the arrows ‹ and › for the week, « and » for the month, the Today link and the Jump to a date field. The selected week is written next to them, for example Week 1, together with the start and end dates of the week. The Full view button opens a menu with three options: Full view (the school’s whole day, at full height), Occupied only (hides the empty hours before the first and after the last event) and Optimised height (the whole day, but shorter, so more of the week fits on screen).
Open an activity
In the weekly view, click the activity card; the activity page opens with the details Rooms, Lecturers, Teaching type and Course code, where the Copy button copies the course code. For an activity with an online meeting, above these details there is also a Join online button and, next to it, a Copy button that copies the link to the meeting.

The button opens the meeting in the right application: most online activities take place in Microsoft Teams, while some, for example some online exams, still take place in Zoom. Always open the link from the timetable and not from a saved copy, because it can change when the time slot, the lecturer or the room changes. How to join a lecture in Teams is described in the article Online and hybrid lectures in Teams.
Create a permanent link
Below the filter row is the Link to this view button. Clicking it opens a field with the address of the current selection and a Copy button. Save such a link in your bookmarks or send it on, and it opens exactly this selection. The Programme, Year and Branch selection is updated in the address as you go.
Print or export the timetable
In the menu with the three-line icon, choose This page and then Print if you want a printout of the current page. To export, choose Reports in the same menu, select Groups, Subjects, Lecturers or Rooms and click Show; the links Download PDF, Download Excel and Printable / PDF appear.
Set the language
The Language button (top right) opens a menu with the interface languages. Under the heading Names there is also a switch between As the school writes them and Translated, which applies to the names of subjects, rooms and programs; when Translated is selected, there is an asterisk next to the language code.

The timetable on your phone
On a phone the week is shown one day at a time and the filters stack below one another; the labels are the same as on a computer. The timetable is also in the Studo app, in the Calendar section.
