In brief
- Lectures in Microsoft Teams are recorded automatically.
- The technician publishes the recording in the subject’s e-Classroom; you open it with your Alma Mater student account.
- Recordings of activities that still take place in Zoom remain in Zoom.
Where to find the recording
The recording is in the e-Classroom of the subject in which the lecture took place. There are no recordings in the timetable or in the Studo app; there you only find the link to the meeting.
How to open the recording
- Sign in with your Alma Mater student account and not with another account.
- You play the recording in the browser.
- The recording is available for two years, after which the IT department deletes it.
What the recording captures
The recording captures audio, video and the shared screen. How recording starts and what to do if you do not want to appear in the recording is described in the section Recordings in the guide Online and hybrid lectures in Teams. How Alma Mater handles personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
Recordings in Zoom
Some activities, for example some online exams, still take place in Zoom; their recordings are in Zoom. The instructions are in the article Watching lecture recordings (ZOOM SSO).
Troubleshooting and help
- The recording is not in the e-Classroom. Contact the lecturer of the subject or your IT coordinator.
- The recording does not open. Check whether you are signed in with your Alma Mater student account; if you are signed in with another account, sign out and sign in again.
Contacts are on the page IT coordinators by location.
